Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.20 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use macOS Mojave 2. Go to https://appr.tc/r/764432225?debug=loopback&vsc=h264 3. Keep it running for a little while and open another camera app to accelerate the appearance of the problem such as Photo Booth 4. Keep Photo Booth running for 1 minute and then close it 5. At this stage, your video is frozen and no longer transmitting (profile: 0, bitrate: 0) What is the expected behavior? Video should keep working. If the encoder times out, it should recover automatically. What went wrong? The encoder fails and never recovers with the following error: "INFO:video_send_stream_impl.cc(433)] SignalEncoderTimedOut, Encoder timed out" Stopping camera and resharing does fix the problem temporarily for a random period of time. This issue seems to have started (or become very frequent) on macOS with Mojave. [13054:20743:1030/175046.519985:INFO:video_send_stream_impl.cc(433)] SignalEncoderTimedOut, Encoder timed out. [13054:20743:1030/175046.520070:INFO:bitrate_allocator.cc(229)] UpdateAllocationLimits : total_requested_min_bitrate: 0bps, total_requested_padding_bitrate: 0bps, total_requested_max_bitrate: 0bps Did this work before? Yes macOS before Mojave Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 71.0.3578.20 Channel: beta OS Version: OS X 10.14.0 Flash Version:

Able to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 71.0.3578.20, latest Beta# 71.0.3578.30, latest stable# 70.0.3538.77 and on latest chrome# 72.0.3597.0 with steps mentioned in comment# 0 using Mac 10.14. As this issue is seen from M-60(60.0.3112.0), hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged. Note: Unable to test the issue on Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows-10, on running the URL provided in comment# 0 simultaneously with the internal camera app, both didn't get played simultaneously. So, issue is specific to Mac OS. Thanks!

Seems to be a capture issue as the encoder isn't getting frames to encode. |
