Double-tap on touch-action:auto doesn't fire a dblclick event? |
|||
Issue descriptionWe have the following comment from bayo@ in another bug ( crbug.com/874474#c62 ). While that other bug is already fixed, the "touch-action:auto" part of the observation+video looks buggy. <comment begins> Device : Scarlet Dru Auto : zoomed in/out pan-x pan-y : dialog box says 'dblclick' none : dialog box says 'dblclick' Video -- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-17hVRGoiT-oWKVAh7Aqrje9ZUgpGdyj/view?usp=sharing Google Chrome 71.0.3578.21 (Official Build) dev (32-bit) Platform 11151.11.0 (Official Build) dev-channel scarlet-unibuild (dru) Firmware Version Google_Scarlet.10388.59.0 JavaScript V8 7.1.302.6 <comment ends> Expected behavior: double-tap on "auto" should show the alert saying "dblclick". I can't repro this on my PixelBook with 71.0.3575.0, so not sure what's going on here. I confirmed that double-tap on Android fires a dblclick event.

This works for me on an Eve as well. If this is still busted it's likely an issue in ChromeOS somewhere. +omrilio@, could you route this to the appropriate team? We don't have a scarlet dru in WAT.

to Ahmed who is my go to person for this.

Isn't that expected? The auto div doesn't have any touch-action css, and as a result the entire page zooms?

The page, at least on Android, isn't zoomable though I see now it is on a desktop browser. Does the scarlet dru have double-tap enabled? Perhaps if we have double-tap enabled we don't dispatch the dblclick? I suppose it would make sense since we don't want 2 browser actions on one gesture. bayo@, is it the case that the page zooms when you double-tap?

Double-tap is now disabled on all devices. |
