Regression:Passphrase sync error message on avatar icon is seen chopped after changing browser language.

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 71.0.3578.27 (Official Build) d7850e07856a010c464bc7ea52e4ee10ca5965ce-refs/branch-heads/3578@{#361}(32/64 bit) OS: Win(7,8,8.1,10) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Launch chrome ,navigate to 'chrome://settings/languages' and change browser language to Tamil. 2.Give print command and enter some text in pages textbox such that error message should appear. 3.Observe. Actual : Error message on print preview is seen chopped after changing browser language. Expected: Error message on print preview should not be seen chopped after changing browser language. This is Regression issue seen in M-71, and will soon update other info. Good Build: 71.0.3575.0 Bad Build: 71.0.3576.0 You are probably looking for a change made after 583987 (known good), but no later than 583988 (first known bad). Update: Please refer below description, Precondition: Sign into chrome which has passphrase sync. What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Launch chrome and navigate to 'chrome://settings/languages'. 2.Change browser language to 'Tamil' and click on avatar icon. 3.Observe syn passphrase error. Actual : Passphrase sync error message on avatar icon is seen chopped after changing browser language. Expected: Passphrase sync error message on avatar icon should not be seen chopped after changing browser language. This is Regression issue seen in M-70, and will soon update other info. ***Mass UI Triage*** Just to update: Still we are able to reproduce the issue on latest canary #72.0.3610.0 on Windows(7,8,8.1,10) OS. @droger: Could you please take a look into this issue. Kindly find the attached screen-cast for reference. Thank you. |
