Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11021.51.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.69 Safari/537.36 Platform: 11021.51.0 (Official Build) beta-channel cyan Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. n/a 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? font installer to add fonts to ChromeOS machines What went wrong? Chinese characters are something very different from Latin alphabets. There are thousands of Chinese characters independent from one another. Moreover, Traditional and Simplied Chinese make thing more complicated. There are still a huge font market among China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I do not think Google can satisfy the need one day by its own and I am convinced that no single company can do that. If Google want chromeOS as successful as Windows in areas using Chinese language, a font installer is a must. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 70.0.3538.69 Channel: n/a OS Version: 11021.51.0 Flash Version:

Please do not use the Blink>Fonts component for ChromeOS font bundling or font installation. |
