per b/117493705 Showy hasn't been updated in a while. The display was working properly for several months before it started crashing and so they suspect a Chrome update may have initiated the problem?

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Launch chromebit in Showy mode.
(2) display our content from Stagedoor/calendar
(3) wait several hours
Expected Result: slideshow continues ad infinitum
Actual Result: slideshow will eventually stall (no longer change slides). Seems to stop on different pages each time.
How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
I have to power cycle the chromebit every morning. :(
