Small UI glitch on the "new tab" page when hovering "shortcuts" elements

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3590.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: (1. Add some links to the page if you don't have any) 2. move you mouse over one link element What is the expected behavior? no move effect What went wrong? there's some "move effect", I would say the element moves left by 1px, see attached video Did this work before? Yes not sure Chrome version: 72.0.3590.0 Channel: dev OS Version: Ubuntu 18.10 up to date / gnome-shell Flash Version: might be related to 897652 (I'm not sure)

Thanks for filling the issue... Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 72.0.3590.0 using Ubuntu 17.10. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Opened new tab As we have not observed move effect @Reporter: Can you verify this issue with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps or reset all the flags. Let us know whether issue still persists. The issue seems to be related to Ubuntu 18.10, hence adding TE-NeedsTriageFromMTV for further investigation of the issue. Thanks..!
