Search field in full scrreen

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enable full screen mode  (f11)
2. Open new tab (ctrl+t)
3. Try to write something in search box

What is the expected behavior?
Written text is shown in serach box. There is no omnibox, so written text is not redirected. 

What went wrong?
Nothing shows in search box. 

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
