Open attached html file 2. Notice a long horizontal line starting from the cell What is the expected behavior? No any horizontal long lines What went wrong? The Blink renders long horizontal line starting from the cell if there is a combination of colspan and border-collapse Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: This is a "Blink > Layout > Table" component.

Thanks for filling the issue... Unable to reproduce this issue on reported chrome 69.0.3497.100 and chrome stable 70.0.3538.77 Using Ubuntu 14.04. Attaching screenshot for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Downloaded given html files and Opened Dev tools 3. inspected the Cell 3 As we have not seen horizontal long lines @Reporter: Can you verify this issue with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps or reset all the flags. Could you please upgrade to latest chrome stable 70.0.3538.77, you can download latest chrome builds here:" https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel ". Hi ! the issue is not fixed... take a look at attached file "chrome_bug_2.html". the line still renders on my Chrome 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit). this time the test page is more simple. any additional information any need from me ? Thanks, Dima

Hi again, I made a mistake in original file chrome_bug.html: it contains string <td colspan="1"> while should contain <td colspan="2"> under this condition the issue is reproducible on recent chrome version. Attaching correct version original file.

I think this is duplicate, rather than blocking.

I ran across a related issue. If the next row has a colspan, it collapses the border for the row above it. See attached. Item 7 should not have a border and renders correctly in FireFox and IE. |
