Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Either add a new API; or update `chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab()` so that it allows a full screen capture via the `options` parameter. https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/tabs#method-captureVisibleTab Ideally this would work like the "capture full size screenshot" feature that was added to the Developer Tools in Chrome 59 (June 2017): https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/04/devtools-release-notes#screenshots --- Just for context, this is needed for an extension I've created to stop animations (an accessibility tool), where I'd like to create a single screenshot that allows the user to view the whole page, rather than having to wait for a new screenshot to be created every time they scroll. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stop-animations/gemmknjnneiojfjelmgappppbaneikda What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 70.0.3538.77 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version: This has been asked before, when it was more difficult to implement... the bug report for which has since been deleted: https://crbug.com/45209

Duping. The other bug wasn't deleted but accidentally marked as Google-only. I opened it. |
