For reference, we at Vivaldi have looked at a similar report, same URL, for v70 Loading the image require a peak RAM usage of at least 3GB. This is likely to cause trouble for browsers instances running in low memory conditions.

faehnlew@ Thanks for filling the issue... Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 69.0.3497.100 also on latest chrome 72.0.3589.0 Using Ubuntu 14.04. Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. Issue observed on ubuntu and attaching crash id image > M-72 and M-60. Thanks!

This image is 14,225 x 27,201 pixels. So the final memory requirement is around 1.5 gig. I don't think we can do anything about running out of memory. |
