Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.67 Safari/537.36 Example URL: www.karachvi.com/books/1/1_0.htm Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit www.karachvi.com/books/1/1_0.htm What is the expected behavior? This site uses ZWNJ character in فیصل آباد which is placed between ل and آ. There should be no space between these characters but they should also not be combined. IE and FireFox are correctly not combining them, but Chrome does. What went wrong? ZWNJ character should be handled properly by Chrome in Urdu/Arabic script text and when ZWNJ is placed between two characters then there should be no space between them and they should also not combine. I am attaching a comparison between FireFox and Chrome Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 70.0.3538.67 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

lateef@ Thanks for the feedback... Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.67 also on latest chrome 72.0.3589.0 using Mac 10.13.6, Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 10. Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. Thanks!
