Free drawing using a touch monitor shows nothing with fabric.js.

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.67 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://fabricjs.com/freedrawing Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Launch chrome, open http://fabricjs.com/freedrawing. 2. Draw something in the drawing area using a touch monitor. What is the expected behavior? A drawing something is displayed. What went wrong? Nothing is displayed. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes Chrome 69.0.3497.92 Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 70.0.3538.67 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I use DELL P2418HT touch monitor. In addition to the above info, I've confirmed: - Free drawing using a mouse works fine. - In other browsers (Firefox and Edge) with a touch display, free drawing works fine.

Thanks for filing the issue. This issue seems to be similar to the issue : 897906 , hence marking it as duplicate and tentatively CC'ing eirage@. Please feel free to undupe if it is not the case.

Thanks for your quick response and info! In chrome 70, after changing the Touch Events API via chrome://flags/#touch-events from Disabled to Automatic, free drawing with a touch monitor works fine. I think this issue is better to be fixed in the fabric.js library, so i will report this issue to https://github.com/fabricjs/fabric.js/issues. Thanks again. |
