Signed in to new account, didn't show up in gaia UI with accountmanager

Project Member Reported by atwilson@google.com, Oct 22

Issue description

1) Start with a session that does not have a managedchrome.com account signed in (I was signed in to my google.com and chromium.org accounts).
2) Go to https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/managedchrome.com/
3) It prompts you to pick an account to use - select "add account".
4) You are routed to account manager. Add a managed chrome account there.
5) At the end of the add-account flow, you are left back at account manager (not taken back to the Gaia page from step #3) - this is kind of crappy.
6) Close account manager. Now you see the Gaia page.
7) Gaia page was not refreshed - you are just asked to pick from the same accounts you had before you added managedchrome.com - refreshing this page does nothing.

Components: UI>Shell>AccountManager
Quick updates:

1. The GSuite account picker (admin.google.com/managedchrome.com/accountchooser) does not seem to have feature parity with the consumer account picker (accounts.google.com/SignOutOptions?continue=...) - The consumer account picker gets automatically refreshed when accounts get added to Account Manager.

In fact, the GSuite account picker does not seem to be a "real" account picker at all. It just displays the email id which was passed in the URL param. i.e. try opening (https://admin.google.com/managedchrome.com/accountchooser?u=abc@xyz.com and https://admin.google.com/managedchrome.com/accountchooser), so of course refreshing the page does nothing. I'll check with the Gaia/Dasher team about this.

2. Will think about how to auto-close the Account Manager in these cases.
