What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Have a .mkv video stored locally (e.g. Download folder)
(2) Open the video
(3) Wait for the video to start

What is the expected result?

Either the video starts playing, or the system announces that this type of video is not supported.

What happens instead?

The video appears to be loading forever.

(0) Open the video from an online drive, e.g. Dropbox
(0 prime) Assume that the video isn't loading because of a slow network, and that downloading it locally will solve the problem
