Issue descriptionChrome Version: 72.0.3588.0 (Official Build) Revision 56533f367ba451d6545ab0045e8e11f288b36326-refs/branch-heads/3588@{#1} (32/64-bit). OS: Win(7,8,8.1,10), Linux(14.04 LTS) and Mac(10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14.1). Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome, navigate to chrome://settings/privacy. 2. Toggle button for 'Allow Chrome sign-in' option. 3. Navigate to any sub-page (i.e. chrome://settings/content) and observe. Actual Result: Toast message does not load smoothly while navigating to chrome sub-page. Expected Result: Toast message should load smoothly while navigating to any sub page. This is Non-regression issue seen from M-71, build #71.0.3563.0 - Since 'Allow to chrome sign-In' feature was introduced. Note: Issue is also seen on Dev #71.0.3578.10 build. Kindly refer the attached screen-cast for reference. Thank You!

This is the result of two issues 1) The toast itself is a child of the page, instead of being a child of the top-level element. 2) During subpage animations, overflow: hidden is active, which causes the toast to be chopped. Given that we are re-thinking (with the intention of simplifying) subpage animations, I suggest waiting to see if this gets resolved by such simplifications. |
