Thanks for filing the issue! Tried checking the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.67 using Ubuntu 14.04 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Navigated to http://animejs.com/documentation/#motionPath 3. Observed the animation was proper. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps & extensions and let us know if the issue still persists. As mentioned in C#0 it would be helpful if confirmed, if the issue is specific to OS 4.14.77-1-MANJARO.

I collected some additional information by doing a few experiments. Maybe it will be useful. - i try different video drivers, ran chrome through optirun - fps stayed low. - i install chromium 70.0.3538.67 - same problem. - Although FPS low CPU and GPU max load between 5-10% - I mentioned that FPS does not get low instantly, you need to wait some time. I later noticed that the FPS drops exactly at the moment when something another loads CPU in background. And not restored after. Look like chrome have super-low priority (but this not true, i see priority level - 20, like all another apps) or chrome enable some of resource saving mode. At that moment i try load chrome on clear system from boot flash

Install clear system (https://osdn.net/projects/manjaro/storage/gnome/17.1.12/manjaro-gnome-17.1.12-stable-x86_64.iso/). Chrome work fine. I continue to look for the bug reason in my system.
