Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 10895.78.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.120 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10895.78.0 (Official Build) stable-channel bob Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. ChromeOS with Android support 2. Install an app that shows current battery percentage. Any app that is able to report battery percentage while charger is plugged in should do. I detected this bug with Tasker, but you can test with 'AccuBattery' as well. 3. Use the App's feature to read current battery state. Note how the percentage updates correctly while it is discharging. 4. Plug the charger cable 5. Check out the batter percentage What is the expected behavior? Battery percentage should update as battery is being charger. What went wrong? Battery percentage stays at the original Battery Percentage when the charger was plugged in. It's almost as if the Android container doesn't get notified of battery percentage changes while the cable is plugged. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 69.0.3497.120 Channel: stable OS Version: 10895.78.0 Flash Version: 31.0.0.108 I like tracking my dvices' battery usage and thus I do things like creating scripts for my laptops to send their battery state to my server... In the case of Android phones I use Tasker. I recently got a chromebook and wanted to take advantage of android app support so that I could just copy the Tasker settings I use in my android phone. It worked great, except for this bug. Disconnecting the cable and plugging it right back fixes the batter percentage. But it just won't update the battery percentage as long as the cable stays plugged |
