"Installed" PWA apps pinned to Start Screen on Windows 10 have Chrome's icon instead of app's icon

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.67 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install PWA in Chrome on Windows (Android Messages in my example)
2. Pin it to the Start Screen
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
Shortcut pinned to Start Screen have app's icon

What went wrong?
Shortcut pinned to Start Screen have Chrome's icon

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 70.0.3538.67  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

Tried to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 70.0.3538.67 using Windows 10. Attaching screen-cast for reference.
Steps: 
---------
1. Launched reported chrome 
2. Installed PWA app >> https://killer-marmot.appspot.com/web 
As we are observed that Shortcut pinned to Start Screen have Chrome's icon

@Reporter: Could you please check the attached screen cast and please let us know if anything missed from our end.
