"ZIP unpacker" appeared in launcher but is non-functional and cannot be removed

No weird entries in launcher.

That's weird. It's a component, it should never have appeared in the launcher in the first place. It might be that in removing it, I also removed it from a list that tagged it as a component and prevented it from being shown in the launcher. Also, I guess there's no mechanism to actively remove dead components.

I think this will hit a non-trivial number of users, so bumping to P1/M71 for now. I'm not able to repro, but I suspect I know what caused it.

No other bugs or reports of this in the wild. And the issue went away for the original reporter after a short amount of time.
