Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a webpage with an image on it
2. Try to drag and drop the image to a new tab
3. It doesn't work

What is the expected behavior?
I've used this feature for years. The feature exists in Firefox and Safari, but just recently stopped working in Chrome.

What went wrong?
Drag-and-drop image to a new tab doesn't work

A workaround: right-click the image and select "Open in a new tab"
