Chrome saves blank PDF files

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open any pdf file specially one that has fields like permits 2. While viewing pdf file, click on download icon 3. Save to pc 4. View newly saved pdf file and it shows blank What is the expected behavior? Save pdf file as same as viewing preview. What went wrong? Chrome version 55 works fine and newwer versions don't work. Did this work before? Yes 55 Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Workaround is to click on print icon and then select to save. Whatever functions are called when saving the file when using the print icon should be used on the download.

bgcgranados@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.13.3 on the reported version 69.0.3497.100 and the latest Canary 72.0.3582.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to sample pdf site which has fields like permits. 2. Saved the pdf to system and on opening the saved pdf, can view it without any issues. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Request you to provide the URL where this issue can be reproduced, which will help in further triaging. Thanks..

Are you trying to say you tried to fill a PDF form, but the download button saved the original? |
