Issue descriptionChrome Version: 69.0.3497.95 (Official Build) (64-bit) Chrome OS Version: 10895.56.0 (Official Build) stable-channel eve Chrome OS Platform: Pixelbook Network info: "Books-and-Coffee" wifi Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Go here (https://developer.android.com/topic/arc/development-environment) to enable USB for Android Studio externally connected Android device. (2) run: sudo crossystem dev_enable_udc=1 (3) reboot (4) Sound no longer works. (5) run: sudo crossystem dev_enable_udc=0 (6) reboot (7) sound works now. Expected Result: Sound should not break when enabling USB debugging. Or, it should be better communicated that this will break your sound and suggest how to turn it off. I only figured this out because I powerwashed my device and noticed sound working again. When I started reconfiguring for usage of Android Studio, I noticed it broke again and started troubleshooting. Actual Result: How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) Everytime What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Workaround is to sudo crossystem dev_enable_udc=0 Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report. |
