When going home, windows still show minimize animation

Chrome Version       : 71.0.3567
OS Version: 10984.21

When tapping the home button in tablet mode, I still see the minimize animation happening for Apps. Didn't we decide to move towards a different animation in tablet mode because minimize does not make as much sense?

This may even be a place to help with performance by picking an easier animation for now while we work on long term animation solution?
