Issue descriptiongit cl upload appeared to succeed. The CL is visible in https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/dashboard/self but when I click on it, I get an error https://crrev.com/c/1278643 Actually, it's working now but it took about 1m for me to stop getting errors from gerrit

I expect this is due to replication delays in Gerrit. Depending on which machine the CL is requested from relative to which machines it was sent to on upload there can be long delays on it being available and that can cause errors. Gerrit team is working on improving this in http://b/116787725 (Googler's only). We've also been working on improvements to git cl upload so that replication delay doesn't cause weird states like not having reviewers or labels correct on the CL (by doing everything in one command). All the work to help this is sufficiently tracked elsewhere so closing this issue. |
