Unable to find actual suspect through code search and also observing no CL's under regression range, hence adding appropriate label and requesting someone from dev team to look in to this issue.

Sorry about missing this earlier;
Yes, it looks very similar. The stack trace is basically useless though, and the linux runs aren't reproducible. i'm trying to run it locally, and see what i get.
OK turns out that the "clusterfuzz reproduce" tool won't run on the linux or windows targets. I think at this point I'll have to assume it is similar to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=834560
