Hey I tried it today on another computer win10 Chrome 69.0.3497.100 and it crashed too. I have checked the crash page but despite enabling error reporting there are no Open the file dialog and drag a file out of the dialog into the browser then just drop it. It seems like that if Chrome has crashed once on a file type it will not again on the same site. Use a file of another extension. I have tested this with jpg PDF and mp3. I will try to add an gif that shows the crash later this day.

ger.delta.07@ Thanks for the update. Re-tested this issue on Windows 10 on the latest Stable 70.0.3538.67 and Canary 72.0.3583.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the steps mentioned above. No crash is observed once we close the file dialog & open the file. As per comment #5, request you to check and provide the crash dump which will help in further triaging. Thanks..

As observed the error does not seem to be reproducible when trying to drop the same type of file twice since a reboot. |
