I have checked the crash page but despite enabling error reporting there are no

Open the file dialog and drag a file out of the dialog into the browser then just drop it. It seems like that if Chrome has crashed once on a file type it will not again on the same site. Use a file of another extension. I have tested this with jpg PDF and mp3.

As observed the error does not seem to be reproducible when trying to drop the same type of file twice since a reboot.
