Developer Tools - window resize cursor does not change context properly on focus

Issue description
Chrome Version : Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox:
Edge:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open DevTools
(2) Try to resize the window a few times.
(3) Notice the cursor & focus does not always switch to split arrow indicating resizing focus.
What is the expected result?
The cursor will switch context mode to the split cursor for resizing.
What happens instead?
The cursor sometimes switches to resize but not on the top edge of the DevTools window; more below that.
Resize stiil works, but it's buggy.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I've tested this on full screen and windowed mode as well as with/without extensions enabled.

Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 69.0.3497.100 using Mac 10.13.1 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Inspected the page to open DevTools 3. Tried resizing the window We observed everything working fine without any issues. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps & extensions and let us know if the issue if the issue still persists. It would be helpful if mentioned the OS platform in which the issue is seen.

Thanks for the report. I'm able to reproduce when: docked-to-bottom, Chrome M69, M72. I'm not able to repro on Linux. Please let us know if you're using a different OS.

Sorry, yes I was using this docked at the bottom. I’m on the latest macOS 10.14. I have observed the issue in Windows Server 2016 VDI as well. |
