Crash when closing current selected tab when multiple tab groups

Steps to reproduce:
(1) Create a new group
(2) Create another group
(3) Enter tab switcher mode
(4) Switch/swipe to previous group without clicking
(5) Close the sub-tab that has the blue rectangle/focus.


Expected result:
Close the tab, card thumbnail becomes a blank page, TAB GROUP layer updated

Actual result:
Card thumbnail becomes a blank page, tab group layer did not update, click anywhere, it crashed
