Hmm, doesn't happen with old VK UI.

Adding crosh component. Could anyone on the crosh team help us understand how the "copy" feature works in crosh? It seems like crosh does some tricks there that might not play well with the VK?

Summary: hterm: Selected text gets deleted from the terminal when On-screen keyboard is enabled. (was: Selected text gets deleted from the terminal when On-screen keyboard is enabled.)
i'm not sure this is a regression. fairly certain VK hasn't played well for a while. see issue 738172 as an example.

going to downgrade severity as such.

Chen, please looks into it.
Seens Darren said it doesn't repro on old UI version.
It also only repros when the virtual keyboard is shown. If you change the input method (e.g Pinyin) and disable the virtual keyboard, the bug doesn't repro. So it's not an issue with IME, it's an issue with virtual keyboard.
