Go button is disabled on custom keyboard after first character is typed in omnibox |
|
Issue descriptionVersion 69.0.3497.102 0. Use a custom keyboard, ie, gboard 1. Open an existing tab that has a page loaded (ie, google.com) 2. Hit the search icon in the bottom to bring up the URL bar 3. Type `g` or any other single character which results in a pre-filled URL 4. Notice that the `Go` button is disabled on the keyboard Note that typing an additional character will re-enable the Go button. When I use the built-in Apple keyboard I notice that the Go button flickers on/off for a frame or two.

Yea, that looks like the same bug to me. My guess is that gboard does not correctly handle the two calls made in short succession to enable/disable the button; regardless, this leads to flickering in the system keyboard so ideally it should also be fixed chrome-side as well. |
