Some -webkit-appearance values (button, push-button, searchfield, square-button) only work at 100% page zoom |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionRelated to issue 612519 1. Open http://software.hixie.ch/utilities/js/live-dom-viewer/saved/6265 2. Set page zoom to 90% or 110%. Expected: The visual appearance of the buttons and the searchfield remain. Actual: The visual appearance is like normal text. The test case is: <!doctype html> <a style="-webkit-appearance: button;">button</a> <a style="-webkit-appearance: push-button;">push-button</a> <a style="-webkit-appearance: searchfield;">searchfield</a> <a style="-webkit-appearance: square-button;">square-button</a>

The fix for that issue made the CSS fallback look more like the native button, but didn't change the fact that the native look only works for 100% zoom. For the test case in this issue there is no CSS fallback, just -webkit-appearance. Zoom with native buttons work in Safari and Firefox. |
