Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: See attached file. In brief: 1. Create textbox with 1px font size. 2. Observe value (textbox.value) changing while typing. 3. Clear textbox. 4. Zoom to 50%. 5. Attempt to type in textbox. 6. Observe value not changing. The attached file provides a more direct example. What is the expected behavior? Textbox value should update with user input in all circumstances, and input events should continue to fire. What went wrong? Textbox value and input events appear to be tied to whether or not the font can be optimized as not renderable (i.e. <1px). Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: Rodete Flash Version:

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10, mac 10.13.3 and ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #69.0.3497.100 and latest dev #71.0.3569.0 as per comment #0. Observed that textbox value updated with user input in all circumstances, and input events also continued to fire. Attached a screen cast for reference. The issue seems to be specific to rodete. Hence, forwarding the issue to inhouse team for further triaging. Thanks...!!

This issue was reported on Linux, but the original repro was on MacOS with 69. So this is definitely a problem on a larger scale. Your video shows that you zoomed out to 50% but you did NOT click the swap-size button again, nor did you continue typing past clearing the textbox as instructed. Please double check!
