Feature request: Chrome touch interface add palm rejection |
|||
Issue descriptionM71 on Caroline It would be good to be able to rest my hand on the touch screen while writing. This is a feature request to add palm rejection to the touch interface. Steps to reproduce: #take out stylus # touch hand to the screen before putting down the stylus point # attempt to write Expected: stylus point recognized Actual: not recognized since the resting hand is interpreted as a touch

In the past, I thought we had enabled palm suppression in low level firmware on Kevin and Caroline and other platforms where we were expected to user to use a stylus. Is that not the case?

Touch should be cancelled when stylus down. What's this app?

No it's not. Trying to type with floating keyboard now. In order to see what I'm typing,it has to the above the text field. That means my palm keeps touching the feedback icon ?! bottom right of this page. See the many new issue tabs on screenshot.
