Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Search in the browser, and deliberately give mis spelled work, eg: 'gogl' 2. Now, the title bar will show - "gogl - Google Chrome" 3. Now, click on the suggested word - "Google" 4. The title bar should change to "Google - Google Chrome" What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? title bar is not updated Did this work before? No Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 69.0.3497.100 using Windows-10 with steps mentioned below: 1) Launched chrome reported version and in New Tab Page Omni-bar given 'gogl' and pressed ENTER, observed 'gogl' in Omni-bar 2) Now clicked on suggested word 'google' and observed the correct suggested word got updated in Omni-bar @Reporter: Please find the attached screencast for your reference and let us know if we missed anything in reproducing the issue. Try to test this issue by creating new person with no apps and extensions in it and let us know if the issue still persists. Thanks!

I can also reproduce - the "showing results for [x]" link doesn't cause a navigation and update the title. looks like it's reported internally as 78181487 Since it's a server-side issue, closing this, but thank you for the report! If it's fixed server side it'll be fixed for all client Chrome versions simultaneously. |
