Poly "Ultimate Test Tour" site broken - Cardboard Viewer

Chrome Version: 70.0.3538.32
OS: Pixel 2 XL Android O
VRCore: 1.18.213676531
VR Viewer: Cardboard

repros every time.
Does not repro on a Pixel 2 Android P, or a Nexus 5 or 5X.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
*May require enabling the webvr flag.
(1) Switch headset to cardboard.
(2) Go to https://poly.google.com/u/0/view/d3fIi0u9hbX
(3) Press VR button and place device in cardboard headset (or just observe the presentation without the headset.

What is the expected result? WebVR presentation should look correct.

What happens instead? Presentation is corrupted. See screenshot.

Also on the Pixel XL in 71.0.3562.0. The webvr.info sample works fine, though.

I would guess that this has something to do with the larger resolution, but what would Tours be doing that the sample does not.

Do older versions of Chrome (i.e., M67) exhibit this? What about older versions of GVR?

On my Pixel 2 XL I get this when set to Google Cardboard but not Google Cardboard (I/O 2015)

Here's comparing Chrome milestones and cardboard viewer types. Works = YES/NO
