Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. new tab 2. search something in the url and let the autocomplete show up 3. as you are typing suddenly it goes to the end of line of the autcompleetion as if you had selected the first autocomplete What is the expected behavior? autocomplete only suggest but not taking over what the user is typing What went wrong? it made type at the end of the line of the auto-completed result Did this work before? stardustboylong@ Thanks for the issue... Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 69.0.3497.100 using Windows 10. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Opened new tab and entered some text on omnibox and seen autocomplete As we are observed that autocomplete only suggest Note: Without selecting the auto suggestions it is not taking the user to end of the line @Reporter: Can you verify this issue with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps or reset all the flags. Let us know whether issue still persists. Thanks..!

Also unable to repro on win10, 69.0.3497.100 (stable) and 72.0.3583.0 (canary) stardustboylong@, is this consistent with all queries or are there other conditions or queries where it reproduces consistently? thank you for the report! |
