Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open dev tools on https://airhorner.com 2. click application>cache storage>airhorner-0.6.11 3. now imagine you have a lot of cached files and they are all named as hashes and you're trying to make sure one of them is there What is the expected behavior? I expect to be able to filter/search the list of cached files, in a similar way to how I can on the network tab's 'Filter' field. I can sort them by clicking on a column heading, so at least I can more easily visually search by type and/or alphanumerically, but if I switch to another tab and back again, the sort I selected is reset to they are 'shuffled' again. What went wrong? no way to search or filter, except one-by-one. sort order it reset when switching back from another tab. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS Flash Version:

Thanks for the report. Sounds reasonable to me, LocalStorage/Storage views have filter bars and Network's dataGrid preserves column sort. We could do the same for CacheStorage as well. hhli@, could you please take a look?

CL1345421 addresses this issue, by adding a search box. However, sorting is not desirable because the number of entries stored in a cache is potentially huge.

Sorting is already there. All this report is asking for is that the sorting isn't reset when moving away, and back to the view. |
