Unable to reproduce the issue on win-10 using chrome reported version #69.0.3497.100 and latest canary #71.0.3568.0. Attached a screen shot for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Opened Chrome browser. 2. Navigated to "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data" in File Explorer. 3. Did not observe excessive zombie CrashpadMetrics.pma-*.TMP files. loorongjie@ - Could you please check the issue on latest canary #71.0.3568.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. In Chrome Canary, both existing Chrome profile and new Chrome profile does not have this issue (only 1 CrashpadMetrics.pma, no *.tmp files). In my Chrome Stable, the oldest *.tmp file dated back to 8 March 2018 and latest dated back to 18 September 2018. Can I just delete these *.tmp files safely? 173MB is quite a lot of space.
