SpeechSynthesisUtterance - Minus symbol being skipped from reading

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Download Pearson TestNav app 
2. On the homepage (where it shows where do you want to go?), Press and hold 'ctrl+shift+1' until red bar flashes
3. Once the red bar flashes, select "Test812" option 
4. Enter the user id/pwd - '1538433274 / tc101'
5. Login and navigate to first question 
6. Hit 'play' button 

What is the expected behavior?
Speech synthesis should not skip reading the minus symbol 

What went wrong?
Speech synthesis skips reading the minus symbol

Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

Tried testing the issue on win-10 using chrome reported version #69.0.3497.100 as per comment #0. Observed that after step-3, when credentials were entered at "Test812" option, the page was shown as "username and pwd you entered is incorrect".

reporter@ - Could you please provide any other sample credentials to test the issue from our end. Also if possible please provide a screen cast for better understanding of the issue.

Tried testing the issue on chrome reported version# 69.0.3497.100 using Windows-10 with steps mentioned below:
1) Launched chrome reported version and installed TestNav app from https://download.testnav.com/
2) Pressed 'ctrl+shift+1' until red bar flashes, scrolled the page down and selected 'Test812' option
3) Sign In page shows error message as " Installed app is out of date"

@Reporter: Please find the attached screencast for your reference and let us know if we missed anything in reproducing the issue, provide your feedback on it which help in further triaging it in better way.

Hi,

Win10 is blocked right now for some security reasons. Can you check this on win7 please? Otherwise, steps you followed is correct.

Hi, we are having auto update issue at this moment with the app, so when you have the testnav app downloaded on win7, please run this command from the command line "C:\Program Files (x86)\TestNav\TestNav.exe" --mode=test
