I know we use an xpc helper tool for notifications. Would that be invalidated with a pending update?

Tried testing the issue with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched chrome version 68.0.3440.106 2. Navigated to chrome://settings/help 3. Have waited till the browser is ready after update (Didn't relaunch) 4. Navigated to https://messages.android.com/ but couldn't find any option "Messages for web" upon clicking 3-dot menu. Note: Checked the same issue with whatsapp, couldn't reproduce it. @avainilovich: Could you please let us know the web page(URL) being used, Any further inputs from your end may be helpful. Thanks!

+cc avi@ rsesek@ - is it possible that the XPC helper can get out of sync with Chrome?

The XPC helper is in the versioned dir, so it can't get out of sync. It's possible that an updated-but-not-restarted Chrome confuses launchd somehow, though.
