when we have scrollback, selecting content and then moving the mouse to the top of the screen should automatically scroll it back so the user can select more lines.  currently it stays locked in position.  same for scrolling down when we aren't at the bottom of the scrollback buffer already.

i don't think we have to handle alt screen/mouse mode specially.  other terminals seem to keep passing it along.
