Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 69.0.3497.100 also on latest chrome 71.0.3569.0 using Windows 10 and Mac 10.13.6. Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. Note: Issue not seen on Ubuntu 14.04. Thanks!

The dialog asks for your Windows username name (not Chrome username) and Windows password. Does this help? http://help.logmein.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/How-do-I-find-my-Windows-username-en1

It looks like you are Chrome Sync user. You can look up your passwords on passwords.google.com then. If the machine isn't yours then the feature is reasonable in general as it may be the password of the owner. |
