Chrome freezes the entire system with this code

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open this site https://www.reaperbugs.com/index
2. Click REAP Chrome
3. Chrome and system freezes.

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome should work fine along with the system.

What went wrong?
Chrome and the system freezes.

Crashed report ID: 

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

Tested this issue on windows10 using chrome version #69.0.3497.100 as per below steps:

1. Go to https://www.reaperbugs.com/index
2. Click on Reap
3. Observed a dialog,on clicking ok chrome was freezed for just 1-2 secs and then it worked normally. No system freeze observed.

@sidboymoraes: Could you please look into the screen-cast and let us know if anything is missed from our end. Also please provide crash id from chrome://crashes if any.
