Profile Switcher too Hidden |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. The Chrome Profile switcher used to be part of the chrome next to the tab strip. 2. The new UI (Chrome 69+) has cleaned up this area by removing the profile switcher / image and putting it into a People menu. 3. This makes switching profiles far less discoverable. What is the expected behavior? Right-clicking the + (new tab) button should open the People menu as a popup... What went wrong? I couldn't figure out how to switch profiles for a couple minutes... when I eventually did now it's less obvious which chrome profile is for which window. Did this work before? Yes 68 Chrome version: Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13 Flash Version: Please consider keeping the chrome profile switcher as part of the UI with profile image instead of squirreled away into a menu. For now, I'm going to use a different browser for different profiles. Maybe this is the Chrome team's recommendation?

(also, it's much harder to distinguish the profile switcher button from Chrome extension buttons now)

Probably a dupe of issue 881463. Merging into it. |
