This is a website issue. They are calling requestFullscreen() but not binding a fullscreenchange listener.
They are only binding a
document.addEventListener("webkitfullscreenchange", screenHandler);
handler, and since they are calling the unprefixed API they don't detect that fullscreen mode was entered and try to re-enter it in the toggle button.
I'll try to find a contact person for that site.

Does the Chrome fullscreen exit experience still trigger? A button should appear when the mouse gets near the top of the screen?

Yes pressing ESC or clicking the 'X' that appears still works.

Thanks for the update. At this point, it appears there's no further action for Chrome. Closing this bug as WontFix (ExternalDependency is still considered an opened status). |
