[CrOS] Device compatibility error on version older than latest available version |
|
Issue descriptionGoogle Chrome 69.0.3497.95 (Official Build) (64-bit) Revision e3a5f87b64d44c4b311d2458f16b9f469e2597fb-refs/branch-heads/3497@{#931} Platform 10895.56.0 (Official Build) stable-channel link Firmware Version Google_Link.2695.1.169 OS: Chrome What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Be on a Pixel book on version 68.0.3440.118 (2) Go to chrome://chrome What is the expected result? Forces upgrade and asks for restart to 69.0.3497.95 What happens instead? Error message "This device will no longer receive the latest software updates. Please consider upgrading." Now, I'm not sure if updates to this device have truly been stopped, but I can definitely reach 69.0.3497.95 (latest stable) -- had to wait multiple hours per inability to force the update but it eventually proposed a restart and now I'm on that version. So either it was incorrect to show this error message while on 68.0.3440.118 or this device is incorrectly showing that error regardless of the version The error is also still showing in 69.0.3497.95 which is the latest stable so I'm confused...

Ok but why did I get the error while still on M68? Le jeu. 27 sept. 2018 12 h 23, cindyb via monorail < monorail+v2.96790839@chromium.org> a écrit : |
