Chrome Version: 71.0.3556.0
OS: 11042.0.0
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enable "Swiss German keyboard" (de-CH) in "Input method" settings.
(2) Trigger VK to open, e.g. by focusing on a text field.
(3) Switch to "German - Swiss German keyboard" in VK's language menu.
(4) Type "Strasse" (Swiss Standard German for "street").
What is the expected result?
Candidate strip includes "Strasse" as user types.
What happens instead?
"Strasse" (de-CH) never appears in the candidate strip. There's however "Straße", which is "street" in Germany/Austria's Standard German (de-DE, de-AT).
NOTE: Also repro with many other words containing "ss" (the only spelling accepted in Swiss Standard German de-CH, where it can be and usually is "ß" in Germany/Austria's Standard German de-DE/de-AT).
