Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 10895.56.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.95 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10895.56.0 (Official Build) stable-channel kevin Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. (Unsure if it will do so now that it has been released for a while) Open settings 2. tap about chrome 3. select update 4. once it has downloaded it gives you a message about the device being at end of life (See attached files for more information and screenshots of the issue in action) What is the expected behavior? Successful update What went wrong? Update displayed an incorrect notice of device being at end of life for support and updates. Samsung has directly confirmed this should not be happening and the reps said this was not their first report of this happening with this new update to the September 13, 2018 stable build. Update was pushed through on September 18, 2018 that caused this to happen. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3497.95 Channel: stable OS Version: 10895.56.0 Flash Version: 31.0.0.108 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so Sorry for the delay in reporting as this was the soonest I could get to it.

Thanks for reporting this issue. The Samsung Chromebook Plus (Kevin) isn't scheduled for Auto Update Expiration until 2023. We are tracking this issue with the other bug. |
