Chrome starts to load email, then goes back to screen to login, multiple times

Reported by 2alaca...@gmail.com, Sep 25

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I click login, then it starts to open
2. Comes back to login screen, click email again, starts to open. It may open the email, or go back to login again.
3. If it opens the email, I start to click on an email and it goes back to login screen.

What is the expected behavior?
Click on email once, open system the first time.

What went wrong?
I have also received the OOPPS screen when loading, and drop during opening an email.

Did this work before? Yes Version before new Chrome look

Chrome version: 69.0.3497.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version:

Also changed virus protection from Kaspersky to Norton. My home computer says it has a sync problem when accessing one of my accounts.

2alacarte@ Thanks for the issue.

Tested this issue on Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.13.3 on the reported version 69.0.3497.100 and the latest Canary 71.0.3559.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps.

1. Launched Chrome and navigated to gmail.com.
2. Signed into gmail account and could load the mails without any issues.
3. Cannot observe the inbox page navigating back to Login page and asking to login again.

Request you to retry the issue on new chrome profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread with the observations.

Thanks..
Susan,
Thank you for the response, but I have no idea what you are referencing
when you say:

"Request you to retry the issue on *new chrome profile* without any
*flags/extensions
and update the thread with the observations*"

Could you provide some further instructions?

For creating a new profile on chrome, click on Profile icon -> Manage People -> Add Person and a new person is created.
Attached is the screen cast for reference.

Request you to retry the issue on a new profile and update the thread with the observations, which will help in further triaging.

Thanks..
