Inspecting element in developer tools hangs the browser

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3497.100 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#no-xsi Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Press Shift+Ctrl+N 2. Navigate to the following url: https://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#no-xsi 3. Click RMB on the "W3C Recommendation" label in the top left corner of the page 4. Click "Inspect". That would open the DevTools window. 5. Close the DevTools window. 6. Browser tab hangs for a few minutes. What is the expected behavior? Browser tab shouldn't hang. Even IE instantly handles tasks like this. What went wrong? The tab stopped responding. I guess, element height was too big and messed up highlighting in Elements inspector. Does it occur on multiple sites: No Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Able to reproduce the issue on Windows 10, mac 10.13.3 and Ubuntu 17.10 using chrome reported version #69.0.3497.100 and latest canary #71.0.3564.0.
